Scientists say they are shocked soon after discovering sea spiders have the skill to grow new reproductive organs and an anus.
Professionals previously realized that when the arthropods shed legs, they can regrow them.

The research, which has been released in the Proceedings of the Nationwide Academy of Sciences journal, saw the hind limbs and backends of 23 sea spiders amputated.
When four more mature spiders did not regrow everything, most of the 19 juveniles did.
Sixteen of them regenerated at minimum a person dropped overall body element, 14 recovered their posterior, and 90% survived very long-term even with the amputations.
